Ulta Beauty Haul and Review

Ulta Beauty Sale Haul and Review

Ulta Beauty Haul and Review

A few weeks ago, one of my favourite beauty stores here in the US had their semi-annual 21 days of beauty sale. Yes I’m talking about Ulta 😍 . So when their catalog came out, I marked the days in my calendar to make sure I didn’t miss out on any of the products that I had to have! I also picked up a couple of things that weren’t included in their 21 days sale, but I did purchase them on a buy one get one 50% offer. So without further adieu, here are the products I picked up in my little haul.

Lorac Riesling Romance Eye Shadow Palette

Lorac Riesling Romance Eye Shadow Palette (on sale for $15, $70 value)

So this was one of the products that I absolutely had to get! I have used it a couple of times now and so far so good. My favourite thing about this palette would have to be the price, for $15 that my friends is a STEAL! 😂 I will have an in-depth review with swatches of the palette in the next few days, so be sure to keep an eye out for that. If you want to see the eyeshadows now, you can go check out my Instagram page as I have uploaded a photo on there.

Pur Cosmetics Dirty Girl Mudd Mask

PÜR Cosmetics Dirty Girl Mudd Masque (on sale for $18, reg. $29)

I’ll be honest, I have never actually purchased a face mask, I have always made my own and it’s been a long time since I’ve even done that! So when I saw this mudd mask as part of Ulta’s sale, I thought I should definitely pick one up, especially seeing as I already love PÜR products. I have only used this mask once so far, so I can’t go into too much detail about it yet. When I have used it a few more times I will definitely do a more in-depth review, so keep a look out for that. What I can say though, is that it made my skin so incredibly soft afterwards! The only downside I found, was a couple of days after using the mask, my face did break out. So naturally I did some research about why this happened and found out this can occur, as it is the mask doing its job and bringing out the impurities from your skin, and the more often you do them, the less likely this will happen. Phew!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil

Anastasia Beverly Hills Perfect Brow Pencil (on sale for $12, reg. $23)

I bought this pencil for two reasons. One, to use for quick brow application and touch-ups, and two, to say that I own an ABH product 😂 . I have heard so many great things about her line and it seems to be all the rage, so of course when I saw this on sale I was quick to pick it up. It is very easy to use, highly pigmented so a little goes a long way and it is travel friendly. I don’t know if I would pay full price for this product however, as you can get many brow pencils for lower prices which are just as good.

Pacifica Natural Body Hand Creams

Pacifica Natural Body Hand Creams (buy one get one 50%, reg. $9 each)

I’ve been wanting to grow my natural make up and skin care collection for a while now. I have already changed my skincare (face) products and so the next step for me was hand creams and body lotions. I picked these up to start with, just to see what they were like and where they stack up against how moisturising they are, non greasy etc. So far, I have to say that I am happy with them, they keep my hands very soft and hydrated, without feeling too greasy. The scent is incredibly strong, however they remind me of a tropical island so I give them a pass for that. What I like about them the most though, is that they are vegan and formulated without parabens, petrolatum, SLS, sulfates, phthalates and are cruelty-free.

So there you have my Ulta beauty sale haul. I’m so happy with the products I picked up and even happier that I got them all on sale! Hope you enjoyed reading this, let me know if you’ve picked anything up from your favourite beauty stores lately and how you’re liking/disliking the products!
