My Top 4 Favourite Fragrances: Spring Edition

My Top 4 Favourite Fragrances

“Perfume is the most intense form of memory” – Jean Paul Guerlain

“Perfume puts the finishing touch to elegance – a detail that subtly underscores the look, an invisible extra that completes a woman’s personality. Without it, there is something missing” – Gianni Versace

My Top 4 Favourite Fragrances

What woman doesn’t love perfume? I definitely love having a beautiful scent on, and I think it can make you feel wonderful, confident and sexy! They are like an accessory, and can really “complete” your outfit before leaving the house. I have managed to collect quite a few over the years and they have become like a display in the bedroom. Depending on my mood or the occasion I will rotate between them, but to celebrate the season, I have selected my top 4 fragrances to share with you guys for the springtime.

Jean Paul Gaultier Summer 2010 Fragrance

Jean Paul Gaultier – Classique 2010

This has been one of my favourites since I got it. I fell in love with it pretty much straight away and have gone through 3 bottles so far. I would describe it as a flirty, sexy, summery perfume. It is really hard to get these days as it is pretty old and has been discontinued, but you can still find it floating around online. I am running really low on this bottle, so my use of it has been scarce. Every time I put it on it reminds me of good memories associated with the beautiful weather in spring or summer back in Perth, Australia. The fragrances top notes include orange blossom, clementine and lemon. The middle notes are jasmine, lily, white iris. And the base of the fragrance is vanilla, musk and amber. It has a “lighter” smell than the standard Classique eau de parfum (which I also own and love), and lasts about 4-5 hours on me.

Versace Bright Crystal Fragrance

Versace – Bright Crystal

This is definitely my go to perfume during the day. I would describe it as fun and cute, but it is very strong so you don’t need to spray a lot of it. It lasts about 4-7 hours depending on how much you spray. I think the bottle is stunning, however it is quite bulky and heavy, making it a bit hard to travel with. You can find it at Sephora for $73 (US). Its top notes include yuzu, iced accord and pomegranate. The middle notes are rose, peony, magnolia and lotus flower. And the base notes are amber and musk.

Forever Dior Fragrance

Christian Dior – Forever

Before my Jean Paul Gaultier Classique came into my life, this was my absolute favourite perfume. Another one that is discontinued and running low, I need to go searching online so I can purchase a new bottle. I would describe this as cute, youthful, feminine and clean, and lasts roughly 2-4 hours. The scent isn’t overpowering so it is perfect for day time wear. Its top notes include freesia, ivy, and jasmine. Its middle notes are rose, geranium and almond blossoms. And the base notes are musk, vanilla and amber.

Versace Yellow Diamond Fragrance

Versace – Yellow Diamond

Like the light that comes from a yellow diamond brilliant and bright, mysterious and alluring, and always intense” – Donatella Versace. Another favourite from Versace, this one is my go to perfume to wear at night. It has a very strong scent and lasts at least 5-8 hours. I can usually still smell this on me the next day! I would describe it as youthful and fresh, yet sophisticated and elegant. You can find it at Sephora for $73 (US). Its top notes consist of citron from diamante, pear sorbet, neroli and bergamot. Its middle notes are freesia, orange blossom, jasmine and osmanthus. And the base notes of the perfume are amber wood, palo santo and musk.

My Top 4 Favourite Fragrances

So that sums it up for my top 4 favourite fragrances. I’d love to know what your favourites are? I may go out and add them to my ever growing collection! 😁 Also let me know if you have any of these and what you think of them! Thanks for reading ❤
